With over 1000 varieties of sweets in stock, including British favourites, limited edition treats, and rare international sweets from the USA, Japan, and Australia, our sweet shop in Bradford is bursting at the seams with nostalgic nibbles and mouth watering modern marvels.
Prefer to stay cosy on the sofa? We deliver our delights UK wide via our online sweet shop and we’re also the only dedicated sweet shop on Just Eat in West Yorkshire. With nearly 1,200 glowing reviews and a whopping 5.9 out of 6 star rating, we’ve earned our reputation as local legends in the sweet delivery world.
It all started when...
Like all great love stories, it began with sweets. The Sweetie People was born from a passion for pick and mix and a love for making people smile. We set out to recreate the magic of the traditional sweet shop, while also offering something exciting and new. From fizzy cola bottles to Japanese gummies you won’t find anywhere else, we’ve always believed that everyone deserves their perfect sweet fix.
As the business grew, so did our offering. Today, we create beautiful gift boxes and bespoke sweet packages for birthdays, weddings, and corporate events. Our custom candy bars are also available to hire, making any celebration a little more memorable. Whether you visit us in-store or shop online, there’s always something to discover.

Whether you're shopping in person or online, we want you to leave feeling just as excited as you did walking into a sweet shop as a child.
We’re proud to be a multi-award-winning business, recognised nationally for both our products and our service. We’ve been finalists in the British Takeaway Awards, received the Best Driver of the Year honour, and were winners of Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday (SBS) Award.
